Gold Coast TechSpace Discovery workshops run during the school holidays and on ocassional weekends in term time, they include Lego, Lego Mindstorms, Arduino Electronics, Programming and lots more. They are a great way for kids to learn about technology in a relaxed and more casual atmosphere than school. We encourage kids to explore their ideas: creativity and experimentation are encouraged!
Our facilitators are all geeks - exploring and experimenting with technology is a big part of our lives and we would like to encourage this spirit in the next generation. All facilitators hold valid Qld Blue Cards.
Summer Holiday Programme
Workshops will be running again during the summer holidays at Gold Coast TechSpace (Shop 4, 21 Nind St, Southport) most Thursdays. This time our programme has been expanded to include programming and electronics. Here are the currently scheduled events, more will be added as they are organised. We may also run events such as Minecraft hacking and Advanced Mindstorms programming depending on demand.All workshops are currently $20 per child and bookings are essential with payment via paypal on this site, please don't just turn up.
